A Warm Soothing Bath

It’s nothing like a warm soothing bath after exercise. It’s the answer for tired, sore muscles and joints. After a day of walking and muscle toning, I opt for a warm therapeutic soak with epsom salt, extra virgin olive oil, lavender bubble bath, green rubbing alcohol and my Dove sensitive skin beauty bar.

Here is my recipe for a warm therapeutic soak. Add to your bath water:

  • 2 cups epsom salt
  • A few drops of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup of green rubbing alcohol
  • 1 cup lavender bubble bath
  • 1 Dove sensitive skin beauty bar

Epsom salt relieves muscle tension, pain and inflammation in the joints. Olive oil softens and moisturizes your skin. The green rubbing alcohol relaxes your tired legs. The lavender bubble bath has a relaxing and calming effect and the Dove soap gently clean your skin. After a 20 minute soak, you will be so relaxed and your muscles and joints will feel so much better.
