God Wants Us to Succeed

by Gerri Nash

gerri#1  God has plans for us to succeed in life. He has provided everything that we need to be successful, and He has put everything on the inside of us to make us a success. Some of you may be thinking that you are a failure, because you haven’t achieved the things in life that you thought that you should’ve achieved. Others of you may consider yourself a failure, because your dreams and desires haven’t yet been manifested. Stop seeing yourself as a failure. Stop telling yourself that you’re a failure. God wants us to succeed more than we want to succeed. God hasn’t made us a failure. God has made us a success.

As we begin to spend some quiet time with the Lord, reading the Word of God [the Bible], and worshipping Him, He will begin to make Himself known unto us. God will begin to show us success and ways to succeed in life. As we seek the Lord, we will begin to succeed.

Let’s make this confession out loud:

I am not a failure. I do not have plans to fail.

God has plans for me to succeed. I plan to succeed.

I will succeed. As a child of God, I have a right to succeed.

Everything I put my hands to, will prosper.

God gives me creative ideas and witty inventions.

God gives me good success.

Joshua 1:8 says, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”

Psalm 1:1-3 says, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”

Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

Philippians 3:13,14 says, “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”

3 John 2 says, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”

Remember, God wants us to succeed in life.

  1. I have been a volunteer at the Ladies Fellowship conferences for about seven years. Every year keeps getting bettet and better. The atmosphere is always charged with worship and love. The fellowship between the ladies is beautiful. Plus the atmosphere is saturated in so much love that one can reach out and touch it by embracing each other.
It is the love of God with us in a tangible form in our sisters in Christ. I can honestly say that it only gets better and better. The next best thing has to be the rapture! if you have never joined us please do. I promise you will not be disappointed. hope to see you at the next event. Please check us out.You will never be the same. I will be looking for You!
